Our feelings alert us when we are out of balance, because the body's true desire is to be in balance. If we listen and understand how to interpret the messages of our emotions, we can use the signals to provide ourselves with what we need.

According to a study by the Environmental Working Group, blood samples from newborns contained an average of 287 toxins, including mercury, fire retardants and pesticides.
It is my logic that if unborn life form is already subjected to this astronomical number of toxins, what would the toxin load of the average adult look like?
Many people turn to energy drinks, coffee & sweets to receive a ‘pick me up’ only to be left with the sugar crash accompanied a few hours later. So what is the answer to sustained lasting energy throughout your day? Of course this question is multi-faceted but an easy place to start is by eating complex carbohydrates.
Diets. Fads. Eat eggs. Don’t eat eggs. It is so difficult to keep up with what is right and wrong in the nutritional world! Which is why I focus on bio-individuality and principles that are not so rigid in thinking, more so reflective of personal needs and environmental impact.

It is my personal belief that almost anything under the sun has a cure. I believe in a benevolent world and that our suffering and pain can also be a salve. So while I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder, I do not claim it. I do believe my body can and will be restored. I understand what it is like to have lived with that label and that is what I am sharing with you today….lessons that came from this experience. I am so grateful to find the silver lining, it has literally been life-saving.
When I first begin to work with new clients they are often surprised when I suggest no more calorie counting or crazy restrictions. Instead, we focus on what is out of balance and how to bring them back to a balanced state. Often we regard weight gain (or lack of weight loss) with laziness or lack of determination. I do not believe this to be true!
For example, could you consider for a moment, that maybe your lack of being able to make it to the gym is an actual compromise your body is making because of its lack of energy reserves?
